With the NCAA Tournament just around the corner, here are 4 NBA Lottery Prospects to watch out for.
Lonzo Ball; Freshman PG, UCLA
If you haven’t heard of this NBA Lottery Prospect, where have you been? Lonzo Ball, the brother of Liangelo and Lamelo Ball, has been tearing it down in UCLA. Lonzo is on of the most efficient college scorers. He is 41% from the three, and scores 108 points every 100 plays! With that he gets almosts 8 assists per game, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals. These stats are what transformed the UCLA team. Before Lonzo joined, the team was 15 and 17, then with him on the team they only lost 4 games! This is because his dad, Lavar Ball always made Lonzo play with bad players on Lonzo’s team so he can make losing teams into winners. The athleticism of Lonzo is unreal. He is like Steph Curry with a 40 in vertical!
Markelle Fultz; Freshman PG, Washington
Even though Markelle is not in the NCAA tournament, he is a huge NBA lottery prospect. The reason for this is because of his basketball IQ. Markelle is the best college player ever to run the pick and roll, scoring 101 points every 100 plays. With that, Markelle is a great 3 point shooter and can get the job done during a fastbreak.
Malik Monk; Freshman PG, Kentucky
All you need to know about Monk is that he is a shooter. 80% of all his shots have been jumpers. With his jumpers, he scores 111 per 100 plays! He basically makes all of Kentucky’s 3’s, with his shooting percentage at around 40%! Not only is he doing that, but he is doing it with extra defenders cheating off his other teammates.
LAURI MARKKANEN; Freshman PF, Arizona
This 7ft freshman out of Finland really shows what big men can do. Right now he has a 63% real shooting percentage! And you won’t believe this. The big guy shoots 44% from the three! He averages 125 points per 100 plays as the roller, and 102 points per 100 plays in the paint. And, he’s not your average scrawny 7 footer. He is actually a big dude which lets him get lots of rebounds.
