The Los Angles Clippers are moving on to the playoffs. What will they do to prepare?
Roster Change For the Clippers?
Los Angles Clippers head coach, Doc Rivers is planning to make a roster switch heading into the playoffs. There is a 50-50 chance that he will bring a free agent, or someone from the D-League to come help his team out. Currently, the Clippers roster has 15 people on it, so someone would have to be waived so that a spot can open up. But, to me, it is highly unlikely that a roster change will occur. Currently, the Clippers owe 3.6 million in luxury tax. The only other team that is in debt too is the Cleveland Cavaliers. So, this means that it would be highly unlikely that the roster would change before the season ends. Yet, this topic is still popping up in the news.
Los Angles Clippers Curse
If you don’t know already, the Clippers have had really bad luck. With missing out on picks, bad trades, and other stuff, the Clippers have never been able to win a championship. Even in their Buffalo Braves era, they still had bad trades, including Moses Malone. All these bad decisions made by the Clippers are proof that they are doomed. Even today, many of their top players somehow keep getting injured, which disables them from helping out their team. If I was a player, I wouldn’t want to go to this cursed team.
“All that stuff happened in the past. That’s exactly what it is: It’s in the past. No one can do anything about it now. If I am with the Clippers, it’s going to be all about the future. No disrespect to anybody, but I could care less what happened 20 years ago, 15 years ago.”
